Lighthouse Learning is a small Education Charity providing formal and informal education support and tuition for children and young people across the City of Leicester.

LTT is our Social Business providing high quality education tuition for fee paying students.

We are based on the Forest Business Park, Oswin Road, Leicester, where we have a small learning centre ideal for work with small nurture groups and one-to-one tuition.

You will be working as part of a small team that provides English and Mathematics tuition to young people in Key Stages 2, 3 and 4, covering ages 9 to 16 years. You will be responsible for providing English language and literature or mathematics tuition.

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering tuition or teaching experience in the subject area.

You will have a Degree in the subject area and be able to develop excellent learning materials. A teaching qualification would be desirable but is not essential.

Employment will be on an hourly basis and be dependent on the number of students booked. Please note payment will be made one month in arrears and on submission of our time-sheet.

Hours of work: are flexible within the following teaching timetable:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 3.30 -7.30 pm

Monday and Wednesday: Mathematics

Tuesday and Thursday: English
